“What makes someone truly beautiful is the way they treat others, and the way they treat themselves”…wise words from this beautiful girl. Lilly is one of my spokesmodels, and attends Vandegrift High School. She is both poised and kind, and has a fun personality that was a delight to work with. At her high school, she is active in DECA, the National Honor Society, and the French Club. Lilly is passionate about her classes in art and fashion marketing, and dreams of one day starting her very own business. “In five years, I hope I am graduating college, and am happy”, she adds confidently. She also hopes to achieve items on her “bucket list” after graduation, like traveling to Paris, learning to surf, and swimming in tropical waters. She also has her sights set on the University of Texas.
With her classy, polished style, I knew she’d absolutely love a combination of country and urban settings. Lilly enjoys reading fashion blogs, and had a carefully curated set of beautiful outfits planned out…I wanted to make sure we made the most of every single one. I helped her with a Pinterest board that we shared and used for planning, and relied on the last shoot we did together (at an editorial session) to help build her shoot. “I chose you as my photographer because I have followed your photography since I was a freshman”, she explained, “You make all the girls you photograph look truly beautiful, happy, and bright. I love how elegant your images look, and how you take advantage of lighting.” The light was gorgeous the day we met up and as you’ll see below, I think we captured Lilly’s senior year perfectly.
