I’ve learned that boho-inspired clothes photograph so beautifully, and I’m happy the trend hasn’t faded in the last year or so! The bohemian styles (think Free People), have pretty tones, tons of movement, and often have interesting details like ruffles, laces, and and crossover necklines….in other words, a photographers dream! Rachel’s session below shows how gorgeous these types of pieces can be, and how to integrate them and still have some classic and timeless images as well. Here’s a few of our favorite boho trends:
-The gorgeous, flowy midi dress: These flowy dresses look perfect with heels to elongate the leg, and also are ideal for layering. You could throw a lacy bralette underneath to a feminine touch, or add a moto jacket over the top for little edge. The open back and flowing, straight cut is unique and beautiful!
-A versatile tunic with a dramatic sleeve: Hello, fun sleeves! I love the bell sleeve and flowing loose sleeve trends (Rachel is wearing some below), because of their pretty and interesting lines. If you are a gal with shorter arms, consider having a tailor hem them or adjust them so you can prevent looking overwhelmed by the cut.
-The embroidered short: These amazing shorts are so unique, and ideal for everyday with a simple tee. The juxtaposition of the canvas twill and the flirty embroidery is a really great hallmark of this season’s boho styles.
