There’s something memorable about Ashley, and it wasn’t just her gorgeous red hair! She has such a unique spirit, and our session was fantastic. She’s graduating from Samuel V. Boerne Champion High School, and after that she’s heading off to University of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in English. Ashley used some of her favorite things – namely mudding, country dancing, and rodeos – to influence her modern country wardrobe. We went out to a scrapyard that coordinated so perfectly with her auburn hair and her cute outfit, and made for some of my favorite photos from the shoot! She chose some of the prettiest outfits, and we especially loved going out into the fields. We also shot in the studio, and I loved how the background showcased her awesome red hair, and her deep blue eyes.
Ashley says that she’ll miss high school: “When I go off to college, what I’ll miss most is being able to see and spend time with all of my friends, every single day. High school was perfect for that!” Her friends know her personality well, which she describes as bubbly, quirky, and friendly. She hopes to travel one day, and has her own bucket list of all the destinations she wants to visit. I asked her where she sees herself in five years: “In five years, I hope to have gotten married. I can’t wait to start raising kids!” From our time together in our session, I know that she’ll be a wonderful mother.
It was such a great time getting to know Ashley, and having the opportunity to capture her unique, bubbly spirit and immortalize it for years to come. Maybe someday these photos will be hanging on the wall of her new home with her husband, surrounded by photos of their beautiful children.
