Sierra had photographs taken awhile back, when she felt unprepared and a bit rushed. I work really hard to make sure that my seniors never feel that way, so I love taking time to hear them and get to know them…it helps me take better photos, and it helps them feel heard and cared about! I loved working with Sierra, and it was so fun to get to do her senior shoot. Sierra is graduating fromΒ St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, where she is extremely active playing both volleyball and tennis. “My favorite high school memory definitely has been volleyball season, and all the memories hanging out with my friends”, she explains, “I can’t wait to go to college, but I will definitely miss my family and all my friends.” In fact, I have her friends to thank for referring her to my photography (and I’m so glad they did!). Sierra is an outgoing, social butterfly, and I am pretty sure she never stopped smiling during our whole shoot.
We worked together to make sure her senior shoot encompassed everything she is as a person, and I think we did it! “I wasn’t sure what to expect for my senior shoot”, she adds, “But I was super excited and have been waiting for years to take my senior pictures. I wanted it to be fun and easy, with great photos, locations, and outfits”. She certainly succeeded in the outfit department, and came prepared with lots of trendy, fashionable ensembles. I loved her Cardinal’s jersey, and her volleyball uniform, and how they brought out her laughter and smiles…obviously, this girl loves her sports π After graduation, she has lots of big dreams, like taking a summer road trip, and hopes to be well on her way to a career in five years from now. She’s headed to Texas Tech to chase her future, and I know she will be so successful!
