Adults like myself tend to fall into two categories: either high school was a time filled with happy memories, or it was a time when you were struggling to find your purpose and discover an identity of your own. Looking back, I know that so many things I thought were important were truly not as monumental as they felt! The four years of high school can really shape your thought process, and begin to mold you as an adult…Grace is really set up for success in this area. She’s a darling, charming, and beautiful young lady, who has her priorities straight. Attending Hyde High School, she plays basketball and softball, and works as an athletic trainer on the side. She also has volunteered in Lima, Peru, at vacation bible school, and enjoys spending time with friends. “My personality is definitely fun, open-minded, and happy”, she adds, “My favorite book is the Fault in our Stars, my favorite band is the Lumineers, and my favorite class in school would be Anatomy and Physiology.”
“I love summer, and wearing white, when it comes to fashion”, she explains, “I love JoJo Fletcher who was on the Bachelorette, and she is my favorite celebrity style inspiration.” Some of her favorite pieces in her wardrobe would be high waisted jeans and shorts, and a denim romper. “Casual and cute” was what she hoped her look would convey, and we supplemented her great choices with items from the exclusive KDP closet. As far as her future is concerned, she has her sights set on college, and her top choices include Arkansas, A&M, Auburn, and OU to study nursing. “I love living in Austin because of the big city feel, and will truly miss my friends and my family when I head to college”, she shared, “In five years, I hope to be completing nursing school, and hopefully be in a hospital where I can be helping others! I also have a trip to Africa on my bucket list, and going skydiving.”
It seems high school has helped shape her into an amazing young lady, but I know that is definitely because of her focus and determination, as well as hard work. Grace, I am so proud of you, and know your future will be as bright as you!
