Payton | Cedar Park High School
It’s no secret that here in Texas, we have warm weather for the majority of the year. Even though our temperatures are on the warmer side, we still love the changing of the seasons as much as the rest of the country. My clients love the different scenery and foliage that come out throughout the year, and Payton (being the fashionista that she is), loves the different outfits too! I knew she was quite the stylish girl, and couldn’t wait to see what she chose, in combination with some of the items available in our exclusive KDP closet. Before we get to the outfits, let’s be sure to highlight all that makes this girl so special:
First, she’s one of my legacy clients, and I did her sister’s senior portraits previously. Payton attends Cedar Park High School, where she is extremely active and invovled. She is part of the Key Club, the Science Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and the National Honor Society (whew!). She is also part of her school’s PALS program, which is an amazing mentoring and peer leadership program. It focuses on team building and skills, as well as positive peer pressure throughout high schools, and helps young people find their true potential. When she’s not in these many academic pursuits, she is volunteering at the Central Texas SPCA, and is part of her youth group at the Church at Canyon Creek. Her hobbies include shopping, drawing, and hanging out at the beach in Gulf Shores.
Time to get back to the style aspects! “Because my shoot was near the fall season, I wanted to make it more of a fall wardrobe. I was dreaming up a pretty burgundy silk top, paired with black jeggings, and possibly an ankle bootie”, she explained before her session, “I follow lots of fashion blogs like Barefoot Blonde, The Sweetest Thing, and Cara Loren’s blog, so my fashion style is very girly, preppy, and chic.” After graduation, she plans to fulfill her bucket list: going to Paris for New York Fashion Week, starting her own fashion blog (which I can’t wait to read!), and swimming with sharks! She will be attending Texas A&M University. Thanks for being one of my “Kadys” this year, Payton!
