Don’t let your fears overwhelm your desire. Let the barriers you face—and
there will be barriers—be external, not internal. Fortune does favor the bold, and

Isabel is one of the amazing seniors I got to work with recently, and one of the things about her that is so special, is her love of her hometown. “I love how Austin gives you a mix of country living and urban living. There is so much to do and so many ways to be active without feeling overwhelmed”, she explained, “I will really miss my parents, and my gym when I leave for college, but in five years, I see myself being very independent, while also being surrounded by people who I love and who love me back.” When it came time to find a senior photographer, Isabel said one of the primary things she wanted to find was someone who could capture her multi-faceted personality. “I’d describe myself as easy-going, reserved, and loving”, she continued, “I love working out, and all forms of fitness. I am very passionate about cooking and baking, and finding ways to work around my severe food allergies. Experimenting in the kitchen is calming for me, and it’s exciting to find alternative ways to enjoy delicious food.” Besides these many extra-curricular activities, she enjoys being part of the PALS program (a mentoring/leadership program), and YoungLife, which is a faith-based leadership program as well. “My favorite memory this year has been really enjoying my friends and soaking in the small moments. I love the nights where I am driving with my best friends to listen to our new favorite songs or being at home to just talk”, she adds.
For her senior session, Isabel brought trendy and stylish outfits (which is her usual and everyday look), and I really enjoyed working with her to get every ensemble just right! This beautiful grad enjoys following fashion bloggers like Lauren Elizabeth and Aspyn Ovard, and veers towards wearing lots of black and neutral tones. She likes shopping at Nordstrom Rack (who doesn’t love a bargain?!) and Urban Outfitters, and you can see her love of fashion come through in her images. The next chapter is likely going to be pretty exciting in the story of this senior, who hopes to attend Texas Tech University to study Nutrition and Dietetics, and later travel to the Philippines.
I loved working with you, Isabel, and am so excited to see your story unfold!
