“When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the
attention of the world.” – George Washington Carver
I have a feeling this girl will be doing quite a few things in an uncommon and wonderful fashion. She’s a force to be reckoned with, and is ready to make her mark on the world. Meet Megan, from Georgetown High School. She’s got so many talents, and a brain that never stops working…she’s part of the student council at her school, and plans to study mathematics in college. In addition, she loves aerial yoga, volunteering at the local animal shelter, paddle boarding, and shopping. Besides all of these pursuits, she is president of the No Place for Hate group, which works to ensure an environment free of bias and discrimination for all students. She loves living in Austin because of the “endless stream of things to do”, and says leaving her beloved pets will be the hardest part of leaving for college when she graduates.
Being so stylish, choosing her outfits was a cinch. She wanted voluminous hair, chic makeup, and fun outfits that would show her personality. I definitely loved helping steer her choices, although she had done the legwork herself with bright, boho, edgy and extremely fashionable outfits that looked terrific on her. She enjoys shopping at Urban Outfitters often, and follows the celeb style of actresses like Vanessa Hudgens very closely. “I’d describe my everyday style as chic on the weekends, sporty on the weekdays”, she explained, “I love wearing solid colors, and wearing baby pink is my favorite.” She plans to attend A&M, and hopes to use her mathematics degree to become an anesthesiologist. Among her five year plans would be: Moving to Africa to start her own elephant orphanage, and fight poachers to protect other wild animals, going to Thailand, and going shopping in Paris. Mostly, she plans to use a medical background to help locals in other countries.
Congratulations, Megan, on a job well done!
