Are you the same person you were in high school? I’m pretty sure I’d look back at the girl I was back then, and know that I am definitely not the same person. Sure, my core values haven’t changed much, and I’ve always been driven and had a mind of my own. But being a wife and a mom, and a business owner has really changed my perspective on the world, and I’m proud of the woman I’ve become. That’s just one reason why I love working with seniors as a photographer; I see all the potential of what these young people will become. I am thrilled and excited to be part of their journey. Rachel is graduating from Cedar Park High School, and enjoys being part of several of the National Honor Society branches, including Spanish and science. She also volunteers as a coach for recreational volleyball, and she loves her biology class. “I’d say my personality is very outgoing, and goofy, and youthful”, adds Rachel.
“When I started looking for a senior photographer, I chose you because I loved the places, the outfits, and how the models looked so incredibly beautiful”, she explained, “I wanted portraits that didn’t look incredibly staged, and I love a natural and fun look.” When it came to fashion, she added, “I love trends like open-back shirts, or flowing shirts with jeans and cute shoes. Boho and city looks are my favorite, and overall, I enjoy things that make me feel beautiful and that make my eyes pop, because my eyes are my favorite feature about myself”. We worked together to take her vision for the shoot, combined with selections from the Kody Diane closet, and made the outfits below…they came out perfectly, and the dreamy, boho looks were just right for Rachel. When her graduation rolls around, she will be making plans to attend college to study zoology or wildlife biology. I know her passion for animals and for academics will serve her nicely in that capacity. Rachel would also enjoy traveling to Greece, and one day going skydiving.
