Why I’ve Switched to All-Inclusive Pricing
This post might be a great bit of education for seniors and photographers alike. My studio has run on an in-person sales model since day one. It’s absolutely an awesome way to go, and I love my sales sessions with my clients. Owning a business is about evolving and growing to fit your customers needs however, and the time has come to make a change. Let me tell you a few of there reasons I’ve made the switch and what that means for my clients.
- Convenience… Senior year has gotten busier and busier for my clients, and schools have become extremely strict on attendance. Leaving my clients barely anytime to even come in for their session, not to mention a second appointment for sales and maybe a third for consults. We can now wrap up all three in one day, the day of their shoot. Clients come in an hour early to put together their outfits, I can walk Mom through all the samples while daughter is in hair and make up. Then it’s shoot time! I absolutely still give the option to come in for a sales appointment, but it’s strictly optional now 🙂 This one shop stop and day has now freed up a considerable amount of time for me, to get behind the scenes work done, continue my own professional growth, and develop new ideas and options.
- Distance… My clients travel in majority of the time from at least 45 minutes away, and with the traffic in Austin, it’s not the most fun drive. I’m happy to have found an option to take some of the strain off them, and make doing business with me easier.
- Clients always get exactly what they want! When deciding on how to structure my all inclusive pricing, I wanted to make sure the packages included everything important to my clients. Styling, Digitals, Grad Cards are the three must haves. I made sure to include this in either option and now everyone is happy, always!
Photographers, I truly believe this is the direction we all need to look at in the industry. Our clients have grown up with everything just a click away, they appreciate convenience, and it’s our job to give it to them. If you would like to see my actual price set up, yes I’m sharing my prices with you (that’s so taboo for photographers), please sign up below to receive the exclusive content!
